Imos India was recently recognised and felicitated by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) for encouraging the development of IT industry services in new technology hubs away from Bengaluru.
Imos India, an IT service for Indian modular furniture industry, recently relocated all operations and activities from Bengaluru to Hubli, and has become a part of KDEM’s ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ initiative.
Their aim is to make North Karnataka a hub to generate skilled designers in IT sector of modular furniture industry.
KDEM is designed to function as the knowledge bridge between the Government of Karnataka and industry with a view to accelerating the growth and investments in the IT, BT and S&T sectors in the state.
KDEM envisions harnessing the unlimited potential of the digital economy of Karnataka by focusing on IT products and services. KDEM’s ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ initiative is aimed at working towards the promotion of emerging technology clusters in tech clusters across the state.
Under this initiative Hubli-Dharwad-Belagavi had been identified as a technology cluster.
