Koelnmesse has announced a strategic partnership with IFFINA, the Indonesia Meubel & Design Expo 2024, in Jakarta and an agreement to forge links with Vietnam’s Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA).

The Indonesia Furniture Industry and Handicraft Association (ASMINDO), IFFINA and Koelnmesse have formed a partnership to launch the inaugural Interzum SEA showcase in Jakarta. Taking place as part of IFFINA, the Indonesia Meubel & Design Expo will take place at ICE BSD City from 14–17 September 2024.

The showcase will present a diverse range of innovative solutions across five key segments: function & components, textile & home fabrics, lights and lighting systems, materials & nature, and flooring.

MeanwhileHAWA, Vietnam and Koelnmesse GmbH have signed a memorandum of understanding outlining their intentions to explore avenues for collaboration.

Key areas of potential include Koelnmesse’s involvement in and support of HAWA’s trade fairs in Vietnam, the participation of HAWA members in Koelnmesse events worldwide, the strategic alignment of activities and knowledge sharing between the two organisations.
