AKE Cutting 2.0 incoporates defining features

Cutting 2.0 stands for the directed chip removal, which almost eliminates unwanted multiple chipping – this is accomplished by the special design of the tools. With the saw blade there is no longer the classical gullet.

Immediately after cutting the chips are purposefully guided to the specific area of the blade’s stepped body, the so-called chip belt and carried off. Meanwhile, chips of the cutters are removed upward through a spiral chip channel. They can thus be removed from the material immediately after cutting without the risk of being cut again.

The current Cutting 2.0 product family consists of a panel sizing saw blade 2.0, DP jointing cutter 2.0 (optional), DP shank cutter 2.0 (optional) and SuperSilent cutter-head.

The Cutting 2.0 product family is rounded out by the HP clamping system which combines the advantages of various different clamping systems. It stands out due to an improved run-out accuracy, slim design and easy mounting.

Compared to conventional clamping systems it ensures that improved processing results can be achieved.

Standard collets can be applied without additional costs for the user. The HP-clamping system is thus a perfect and cost-efficient alternative to the shrink-fit version.

With 70 new and altogether almost 100 items, AKE offers a brand new, very extensive panel sizing program based on the 2.0 technology.  The thin-kerf versions of Cutting 2.0 can be found under a separate heading as well.

Main blades (standard version): 2.0024 (Ø280-520) for sizing and finish cut and 2.0024B (Ø521-730) for sizing cut. Main blades (thin-kerf version) includes 2.0024C (Ø300-430) for sizing and finish cut.

The complete panel sizing program is Tapio-ready, which means it will, in future, be possible to import the items into a  Tapio ecosystem via barcode.
