Colonial Lumbers produces finger-jointed edge glued panels of various thicknesses ranging from 12-mm to 44-mm. Its new state-of-art factories were set up with technical support from Nitshaw Technologies, Bengaluru, and are equipped with the best available woodworking machinery from around the world, including Weinig, Fulpow, Wood-Mizer, Tritherm and Ascu.
Strict quality control measures and best production are practices that define the company. All the batches for chemical treatments and seasoning are subjected to quality checks at the in-house laboratory setup along the production line.
Periodic quality checks are carried out at the Central Wood Testing Laboratory of the Rubber Board.
Today, rubber wood lumber, finger joint panel boards, and other such products are widely accepted throughout India. At present the company’s products are available in several cities and in many foreign countries also.
The finger joint panel boards are marketed with the brand name ‘Colonial Boards’. Today, the company has emerged as the largest manufacturer of rubber wood sections and panels in India.
