Hettich Poddar Institute gets ‘elite’ school tag

The Faridabad-based Hettich Poddar WoodWorking Institute (HPWWI), an initiative of Hettich India, aims at imparting aptitude and know-how in the areas of wood processing and hardware installation.

Established in 2016, it is spread over 10,000 square feet with three fully equipped state-of-the-art classrooms and fully loaded labs with power tools and woodworking machinery, giving both theoretical as well as practical knowledge to its students.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK), HPWII has been allotted elite status and will be training a minimum of 240 candidates as per the training target allocated by PMKK. It now gets precedence over Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) training centres in terms of the mobilisation of trainees by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)
