Dieffenbacher supports wood fibre research

Dieffenbacher GmbH has joined forces with Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences (TH Rosenheim) to spearhead research into hardwood fibre insulation materials.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art flash tube dryer, TH Rosenheim’s Laboratory for wood materials technology embarked on a journey to revolutionise the production of bio-polymer-bound wood fibre insulation materials.

With a focus on drying and glueing techniques, the research aims to optimise process technology, enhance product scalability, and drive cost efficiencies. By harnessing Prod-IQ technology to monitor and analyse production data, TH Rosenheim accelerated its quest to develop competitive, eco-friendly insulation solutions that redefined industry standards.
