Weber sanders help achieve luxury surfaces

The German company Vedder GmbH is renowned for its exceptional interior design services for luxury properties – whether they are airborne, marine, or terrestrial – and the name embodies a blend of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology.

Each project benefits from a dedicated team that collaborates with clients, ensuring that quality, timelines and costs are meticulously managed.

Vedder operates within a global network of leading industry partners to deliver outstanding results, and a key component in achieving their high standards is their collaboration with Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik in Kronach (Germany).

Vedder utilizes two Weber automatic grinding machines daily: the KSF-1600, introduced in 2021, and the KSF-1350, which followed shortly after.

These grinding machines are integral to processes such as calibration and high-gloss sanding, essential for crafting luxurious walls and furniture in premium resorts.

Gerald Wittmann, Production Manager at Vedder GmbH, highlights the impact of these machines and notes that the recommendation for Weber came from one of their sub-contractors.

After a thorough evaluation, it was clear that Weber’s KSF series stood out. The machines’ superior number of units compared to competitors, their wider design, and their flexible handling ensure consistently excellent grinding results.

Sebastian Hauser, one of Vedder’s employees, describes the introduction of Weber’s technology as a significant step forward for the company. The advanced features of the machines align perfectly with Vedder’s requirements, allowing them to achieve the high-quality finishes they demand.

Another Vedder team member, Simon Sagstetter, shares his experience with the cooperation between Vedder and Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik. He emphasises that the collaboration has been highly positive, and the quality of the machines and the support received have contributed to Vedder’s overall satisfaction.

Vedder’s success in delivering high-end projects, including yachts, residences, and private jets worldwide, is supported by their use of specialised tools and machines, combined with their extensive expertise.

Each year, they produce interior fittings for three ships, with their largest project to date being a 180-metre-long yacht. Weber’s advanced grinding technology plays a crucial role in Vedder’s ability to achieve impeccable results in luxury interior design.
