High-quality panel processing work with Unicol

The traditional method of manually cleaning glue residues from panel surfaces after gluing significantly increases processing time. However, Unicol’s innovative systems for detaching, cooling, and cleaning agents ensure that both edges and panels are free from adhesive and dust residues, leading to more efficient and high-quality work.

Notably, the cost is minimal at just 40 paise per metre. Yet this small investment yields significant time savings and substantial quality improvements.

Minimizing glue residues on tools is one of the key advantages of the systems. By reducing the amount of adhesive that remains on tools, the need for frequent maintenance and cleaning is decreased, thereby saving time and effort.

Additionally, the systems ensure a cleaner finish by eliminating trimming chips on panels and removing electrostatic charges that attract dust, further enhancing workspace cleanliness.

Consistent feed speed is maintained even in high temperatures, ensuring smooth operation in varying ambient conditions.

Innovative agents

The innovative agents play a crucial role in achieving these results. The release agent U111, which is transparent, is applied at the entrance of the edge banding machine before the trimming unit on the top and bottom of the panel.

It protects panel surfaces from adhesive, prevents excess adhesive from sticking to the support, and evaporates quickly without leaving residues.

The protecting agent U112, which is green, is used before gluing on the pressure roller and before trimming on the edge surface. It prevents adhesive residues from adhering to edges and rollers, keeps tools clean, does not damage protective films on panels, and reduces friction for smooth edge sliding.

The anti-static agent U113, which is light blue, is applied after edge banding and before cutting or trimming machines, directly on the glue joint. It cools the glue joint, prevents adhesive residues from sticking to the panel, keeps tools free from adhesive residues, and neutralizes electrostatic charges.

Finally, the cleaning agent U114, which is pink, is used at the end of the edge banding machine before scraping and polishing on both surfaces. This agent removes adhesive residues and any remaining release agent residues, cools the adhesive wire, and provides a shiny finish to the milled edge.

By utilizing these advanced agents, operators can achieve superior edge and panel quality, reduce manual cleaning efforts, and maintain high efficiency in your panel processing operations.

Additionally, the manual cleaner U116 is available for various cleaning tasks, including the removal of adhesive residues and cleaning of plastic and felt-tip markers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to maintaining cleanliness in the production environment.
