Felder’s solutions for window and door production

With 18 independent drilling spindles and integrated grooving saw aggregate, the Profit H500R from Format4 offers limitless processing possibilities and ensures short production cycles.

The Felder Group offers a wide range of CNC machines, providing efficient solutions for automated window and door production in both trade and industrial companies.

The Format4 5-axes CNC machining centers, Profit H350 and Profit H500, are versatile profit makers in various construction applications, including windows, frames, doors, carcasses, and staircases. These centers cater to the diverse requirements of cutting-edge CNC machining, ranging from absolute specialisation to maximum versatility.

The Tyrol-based (Austria) machine builders have invested significant effort in developing the Profit-H CNC series, providing each customer with a CNC productivity solution optimised for their specific needs.

This customisation is possible through a special CNC modular system that allows for flexible selection and combination of various machine components, resulting in highly productive CNC machining centers tailored to specific applications.

Performance, flexibility

Whether for conventional standard products or individually designed unique items, the Format-4 CNC processing center Profit H350 manufactures single pieces and large production runs with maximum efficiency. It is a real profit earner from the first day of use.

Along with the specially developed and perfectly coordinated Format-4 software, the H350 is a reliable complete package for window, door and furniture production.

The intuitive Format4 software solutions enable successful planning, programming, and realisation of furniture, windows, and doors in practically no time.

The H350 version 16.50, optimised for large-format production, offers a working area of 5,000 mm in the X-axis, 1,580 mm in the Y-axis, and 250 mm in the Z-axis, ensuring ample space for large challenges.

The Format4 profit H500 offers individual tool configuration and fully automatic production at a manageable level of investment. The high-performance milling spindle guarantees excellent results at every angle, regardless of the material. Along with 18 independent drilling spindles and an integrated grooving saw aggregate, the Profit H500 provides limitless processing possibilities and ensures the shortest production cycles.

The fully automatic ‘S-motion‘ console enables rapid and high-quality processing of door and window components. The new, re-engineered design of the CNC machining centers from Format4 showcases dynamics, power and high-end technology.

The Profit H500 can be equipped with 6, 8, or 10 consoles, and its large working area accommodates oversized workpieces up to a width of 1,505 mm.

Automated production

For fully automated window and door production, the Felder Group offers maximally optimised production flow with the Saomad by Format4 CNC frame machining centers, Just-3500 and Mirai-4500. These models enable customised door and window production in fully automated production cycles.

Without the need for operators, thanks to the innovative loading and unloading system, fully automatic production cycles allow up to 34 windows to be produced in a single shift, depending on the model. The Just-3500 machining concept integrates an automated system for optimal work piece feed and unloading of fully milled components.

The Mirai model is equipped with two mobile work piece rack carriages for loading and unloading, offering a unique, time-saving, and productivity-increasing solution.

The workpiece clamping system with 16/22 collets allows for simultaneous machining of two work pieces, each up to 2,200 mm, or a single work piece up to 4,500 mm.

The main milling spindle, available as a 3/4/5-axis electro spindle depending on the desired level of automation, comes with an HSK 63E tool holder and is supplied with up to 94 tool places. Additional vertical and horizontal electro-spindles enable dual, time-saving machining cycles, enhancing overall productivity.
