Merino Industries continues its commitment to sustainability with the launch of Green Logistics in heavy trucking. The company is now focusing on Scope-3 emissions by introducing LNG-powered trucks, an industry-first for laminate manufacturing. This move is a critical step towards decarbonization, setting a new benchmark for eco-friendly logistics in India.

As part of its integrated sustainability programme, Nirmal, Merino has already achieved significant milestones, including meeting 75% of its energy needs through non-fossil fuels like solar, agro-residue and biogas. These efforts have reduced Scope-1 and Scope-2 emissions, preventing 95,000 metric tonnes of CO₂ equivalent emissions annually.
