Egger continues to ‘inspire, create, grow’

Egger’s exhibition stand had an open, inviting concept and represented an architectural highlight.

The Austria-based Egger, regarded as a future-oriented source of ideas within the industry, once again set new standards with its trade fair presentation at this year’s Onterzum.

Design, materiality and authenticity were at the centre of the wood-based material manufacturer’s decor and texture innovations. Egger’s trade fair presentation reflected the company’s innovative force and commitment to sustainable products.

In the segment of service innovations, Egger presented TrendCast, a new type of decor consultation: virtual rooms, real samples and impressive design worlds create a unique service experience. This immersive experience revolutionises decor consulting and has already won the Interzum Award 2025 for ‘High Product Quality’.

In new decors and textures, ST35 Feelwood Canyon and Bookmatch Oak, with the special feature of a unique presentation over a complete half format, were particularly popular. Both were honoured with the Interzum Award 2025 for ‘High Product Quality’ and the Red Dot Award 2025 for ‘High Design Quality’.

While conventional customer presentations often only show small hand samples, TrendCast enables an unprecedented decor consultation in which customers can immerse themselves in the fine details of the various decors and textures. It stood out due to its unique ability to directly visualise trends and design concepts and bring them to life in a realistic way.

TrendCast was presented on an impressive 6-metre-wide, curved LED wall and offered visitors a unique experience.

With PerfectSense Ambiance, Egger indicated expansion of its PerfectSense product range with fascinating stone effects that combine matt and glossy areas. The perfect coordination of the partial gloss effects with the underlying decor image of the stone reproductions creates a synchronised look as well as a unique experience through look and feel.

With the introduction of the ST35 Feelwood Canyon texture, Egger is continuing the success story of synchronised pore surfaces. The technology used enables even deeper embossing and ensures a more intense texture experience, while at the same time the pores appear visually more matt and natural.

Egger also displayed new standards in the reproduction of natural wood looks for large-area applications with the new repeat-less half format. The innovative structure of the decor image, which covers a grain pattern of 3,000 mm, ensures that the same decor image is only repeated on approximately every 17th board.
