Egger Group has started construction on a €200-million investment project at its Markt Bibart plant, marking a major step in the company’s sustainability and automation strategy. The project will focus on processing recycled wood into high-quality chipboard and expanding lamination capacity.
Scheduled to be completed by 2026, the investment will create 50 new jobs and significantly enhance the plant’s product offerings. This expansion reflects Egger’s commitment to sustainable practices, as it integrates recycled materials into its production processes. The project will also improve operational efficiency with new automated storage and logistics facilities.
