The Thailand International Woodworking and Furniture Exhibition (TIWF) premiered successfully from 18 to 20 September 2024 at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bangkok, the largest exhibition venue in South-East Asia.
This international event served as a prominent platform for networking and business opportunities within the woodworking and furniture industry in the region. It brought together key players to foster collaborations and expand networks, providing a solid foundation for growth and partnerships across the industry.
The event saw the participation of over 210 exhibiting companies from 20 countries, showcasing cutting-edge technology, machinery, equipment, materials, and solutions. It attracted more than 6,286 trade visitors from 49 countries, making it a dynamic gathering for industry professionals.
One of the key highlights of the exhibition was the ‘business matching programme’ which facilitated over 340 pre-arranged meetings between exhibitors and 70 qualified hosted buyers. This initiative led to many successful business deals and partnerships.
TIWF 2024 featured a series of conferences and workshops, where over 35 local and international experts shared valuable insights on emerging trends, technology, design and sustainability practices.
The event also functioned as a skill upgrade platform, offering well-attended carpentry master classes and workshops that focused on enhancing vocational skills in furniture-making, woodworking finishing techniques, and operating woodworking tools.
Looking ahead, TIWF will be held biennially, with the next edition set for September 16-18, 2026, in Bangkok. The organisers are also planning the South-East Asian Woodworking Summit 2025, which will take place from November 13-14, 2025.
