Austrian plastics specialist Senosan is known for its high-quality and innovative plastic surfaces. With excellent scratch-resistant lacquer coatings, new standards for furniture films have been created in recent years.

High-gloss films in a wide range of colours and with the best surface properties have been delighting customers for decades. Scratch- and scour-resistance are clearly higher than with traditional high-gloss surfaces available on the market.

A novelty on display at Interzum was a range of PET films, which will be produced with a new production line from mid-2023. The company has invested around €10 million in this at its headquarters in Piesendorf, Austria.

The new PET film range will be produced in Senosan’s usual premium surface quality, which remains the benchmark in the furniture industry. The PET films will be available with high-gloss and matte surfaces in a wide range of colours and in thicknesses from 0.2 to 0.9 mm.

With the expanded product portfolio, Senosan is a one-stop shop for everything from acrylic surfaces to PET, in thin to thick thicknesses. In addition to UNI and metallic colour shades, a wide variety of decor variants are also available. The combination of matt and glossy surfaces is also possible.

Also on display were the anti-fingerprint surface Senosan AM1800 TopMatt AF, now also in the trendy titanium metallic colour with 3D effect.

With the new colours bronze metallic and titanium grey metallic, Senosan has expanded its glass product line.

The company is also breaking new ground in the area of sustainability: in addition to the already available Senosan ECO furniture films made from recycled plastics, an rPET ECO variant and bio-plastics are to be added to the environment-friendly product range.

Senoplast Klepsch & Co. GmbH focuses on the production of co-extruded plastic sheets and films for thermo-forming. The field of application ranges from vehicle construction to travel cases, the sanitary and refrigerator industry and the furniture industry.
