Blum presented diverse furniture solutions in its ‘For Functional Living’ area.

For the most part, urban living takes place outside our own four walls, which makes it even more important to have somewhere we can withdraw to from the hurly-burly of everyday life. Blum presented furniture that makes the valuable time we spend at home a real pleasure at Ligna in their ‘For Functional Living’ area.

Their one-piece home office has space for a laptop, office paraphernalia and more in the smallest space. With its rollers and tip protection, the Office Tower becomes a mobile standing desk. Offset drawers provide stability, even if they’re open at the same time.

The ingenious combination of home office and sports equipment cabinet is a creative piece of furniture. The work place completely disappears from view to showcase everything needed for a workout at home: fitness mirror, wall bars and a storage area for sports equipment.

In Blum’s ‘For Individual Living’ area, the furniture expresses its personality and has two roles: to satisfy the desire for cosiness and comfort, and to provide a welcoming space to entertain others.

Blum demonstrated how a mass-produced product can become an individual item of furniture that focuses on the details. It consisted of sophisticated living room furniture with diverse ideas: a drawer implemented with Tandembox Antaro in titanium grey; and an extremely large stay lift implemented with Aventos HF top.
